About Us

My name is Tamara and I am the CEO of The Wealthy Toolbox. I am a mother of 2 boys and have been in the banking industry for over 15 years. I  started off as a teller and worked my way throughout the various industries within banking. Throughout my years in banking I have witnessed countless adults and teens get into a bind because they were never taught the basic principles of financial literacy. I started going into schools to teach students about basic financial literacy skills that they were not receiving in the classroom or at home. I believe if we start teaching children these concepts as early as possible we will equip them for life outside of school. I have created fun ways to teach children these concepts without them realizing they are learning a valuable lesson. Through my many  years of banking and teaching I understand that financial literacy is a valuable resource and I am passionate about making it available to everyone.
